Mistee Bailey-Myrick BA ADN, CST, PSC comes to MPHS with 12 years of experience in Intensive care and Emergency nursing, as well as nursing management. While working towards a Doctorate in Psychology, Mistee’s true passion is providing physical and mental health services to the Kauai community. Besides her dedication as the CEO of MPHS, Mistee serves on multiple committees and groups dedicated to providing better health care services within the local community as well as a Weinberg Fellow Graduate. As the CEO, Mistee is responsible for the design, development and implementation of strategic plans for the organization. She is also responsible for the day-to-day operation of the organization. This includes managing committees and staff, as well as developing business plans in collaboration with the board.
Chief Operating Officer, Rob Anderson comes to MPHS with many years of experience in accounting, Human Resources and office management. Rob is responsible for assisting the Director with day to day operation of the organization as well as supporting the staff with their business needs.
Director of Accounting, Giovana Price, comes to MPHS with an extensive background in Finance and Accounting. Giovana traveled and sailed throughout the world for many years before landing on Kauai. Giovana joined the MPHS team in 2015, she brings aloha spirit and passion for the MPHS mission and is a wonderful asset to the community of Kauai.
Receptionist, Kealoha Alapai, is the first person you will meet when you come to MPHS. She has been at MPHS for a total of 6 years; worked previously for the County of Kaua’i during election season. She makes sure that those who come in for services feel welcome and comfortable. Her organizational skills keep those who work here in line. Kealoha is from Kaua`i where she has raised her family; a daughter and a son, has 3 grandchildren and lives in Kalaheo. She volunteers for the Mayor of Kaua`i, for the Koloa Run, Boy Scouts, at her church and many other places on the island.
Prevention Supervisor, Bianka Tasaka, MA, is an HIV/HEP/STD Certified Tester and Counselor who works with the entire community of Kauai. Bianka was born and raised on Kauai and brings her dedication to the local community to MPHS. “B” performs testing, counsels patients and also works outreach on the North Shore.
Clinic Manager, Melisse Camelo, MA, She joined our staff September 2015 as a Medical Assistant and Billing/Coder. Her experience and dedication to our mission has been a welcome addition to the MPHS family.
Prevention Specialist, Andrew Preston, MA, is an HIV/HEP/STD Certified Tester and Counselor who works with the entire community of Kauai.
Support Service Staff
Case Manager, Linda Arn is our lead case manager with a 36-year background in nursing and 13 years with MPHS providing direct services to clients including benefits counseling, medical case management, emergency financial services and linkage with other support agencies.
Fund Development Director, Kymm Solchaga. Kymm has an extensive background on Kauai as a Fund developer. Her skills have played a major part in adding new, important services to the Malama Pono portfolio.
