World Hepatitis DayViral hepatitis is a group of infectious diseases known as Hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E and they affect hundreds of millions of people worldwide, causing acute and chronic disease and killing close to 1.4 million people every year.   Annually, Mālama Pono Health Services participates in World Hepatitis Day which is July 28, by airing unique radio commercials, offering tests at community events and by offering services free of charge.  To learn more about the this day and hepatitis in general, visit the World Hepatitis Day site.
